It was a scorching day as I set off with my assistant, Bethany, to meet Nikki and her Bridesmaids at the fabulous Dover Marina Hotel. When we arrived Nikki's Mum was having her make-up applied by Nikki's friend, the lovely Gemma Parnell of Make-up by Gem. While everyone was getting ready I got some shots of everyone's dresses, Nikki's shoes, Nikki having her make-up finished off and Nikki and Steve's beautiful daughter, Elizabeth. Once everyone was dressed we took some great shots out on the balcony and also in the bridal suite.
We then headed off to Dover Town Hall where we found Steve and his Best Man, Phil, speaking with the Registrar. When they'd finished and we'd checked my rules for photography during the ceremony, we headed out to the front of the Town Hall where we took some photos of Steve and Phil and waited for everyone to arrive.
Once the Bridesmaids (Sarah-Jane, Vicky and Elizabeth) arrived it wasn't long before Nikki arrived looking absolutely stunning with her Dad.
After the wedding ceremony, we took photos inside the Town Hall. When all the group photos were finished and Nikki and Steve had had a chance for a chat with their guests, we headed over to the beautiful grounds of Dover College where we took some beautiful photos of Nikki and Steve. We then headed back to the Town Hall for some photos on the balcony infront of the amazing stained glass window and some well deserved buffet.
For the evening Nikki and Steve had booked the InterSeptors Showband and after photographing their first dance we started photographing any willing guests at our "photobooth".
